Folklorico Dance Performance Request Form

The mission of the GUELAGUETZA FOLKLORICO DANCE PROGRAM is to celebrate and promote the diverse dances of Oaxaca, Mexico, and Latin America. Through events, festivals, carnivals, and family and community gatherings, the program strengthens cultural identity within communities.

Through the Mini Guelaguetza Infantile dance project, our program showcases Oaxaca’s eight regions through traditional dances and costumes.

Through the “This Is Mexico” project, we showcase dances from states including Jalisco, Nuevo León, Sinaloa, Chiapas, Oaxaca, Veracruz, and Hidalgo.

Through the “Spirit of America” project, our program celebrates the cultural diversity of the Americas by featuring dances from Ecuador, Chile, Peru, and Guatemala.
